Goddess Hub Peer Support 

What is a good mother?  Only you can tell.


Every woman's journey to motherhood is beautiful and unique. We easily compare ourselves to others, and the fear of being marked as a bad mother might prevent us from speaking about the whole spectrum of emotions.


Do you find yourself doubting your ability to give birth? Your ability to sustain life? Your ability to accomplish things, and your ability to have a fulfilling life? At Goddess Hub we encourage you to be brave to choose your own way as a mother.


Even if the tools are similar, the way we support you in the workshop will be unique each time.


What will be a constant though, is that you will dive deeper into your own unique approach to motherhood and life. So not only will you get the tools to move on, but also share the energy of other women who experienced the same situation.


Together, we will create a safe environment in which you can fully express yourself, be heard, be helped, allow all your emotions to show up and free your mind from your dark thoughts, guilt or shame about this topic.

Could peer support help me?

 

Lots of people find peer support improves their wellbeing and helps them cope with mental health problems. For example, it could:

  • help you to open up about what you are feeling and experiencing

  • introduce you to ideas and approaches that others have found helpful

  • reassure you that you're not alone in how you are feeling

  • help you to connect with others and give you a sense of belonging

  • encourage you to value your strengths

  • build your self-esteem and confidence

  • help you to feel more hopeful about the future.
